Tonight we honored our grandma's birthday!
On this day, eighty-six years ago, this gracious, wise, and well-loved lady was born.
January 12, 1923
We celebrated Gram's birthday with a dinner of tacos (one of her favorites) and tamales. It was followed by homemade German chocolate cake (another favorite), brownies, and ice-cream.
Our grandma makes the world...a little softer, a little kinder, a little warmer!
She really does put the GRAND in GRANDma!

Happy Birthday to your Grandma!! I have a special spot in my heart for ladies who are 86 years old, my mother is 86. They have a lot of wisdom to share with the rest of us!
