Splishin' and a Splashin'

My parents were Largent-sitting this afternoon while Rich went to the girls game. Lauryn decided it was a great day for Largent's first bath. I ran over to Rich's and grabbed the puppy shampoo. As soon as I returned, it was bathtime.

Tear-free Puppy Shampoo.

We weren't sure what to expect but Largent was great in the tub! Other than a few unexpected shakes (which showered anyone in the room) the bath went off without a hitch.

He loved to try and drink the water.

Boy...was he thirsty!!

Ahhh...this feels good!

Lauryn taking over the hose.

All fresh and clean!

Chewing on the towel while Lauryn finishes drying him off.

See why we like this little fella?

That is one well loved puppy!! Bella needs a bath-are you up for it Lauryn?? she would need about a gallon of shampoo and you would need a rain coat :) Rich and Largent are lucky and loved!

I think that your girls could make some serious cash doing dog baths here in town! :) You couldn't pay me enough to touch a wet dog!

I can't believe how big he has gotten! I just saw him Friday and he looks TONS bigger in those pics from Saturday. Rich must be feeding him his leftover bbqed food.

Labs don't take baths. They fetch something out of the river.

Largent takes baths. We'd have to drive 30 miles for the nearest clean river to take a bath...I mean fetch...in.
